"[The Private Fuel Storage facility] will benefit us with education, schools, housing and health for our people. Also other economic development, because when we have this facility, with the monies we get, we'll develop some more economic development for our people and provide more jobs because that's what we need.

"A lot of people have been away from the reservation because there's not many jobs. So, this would be a good opportunity for many to come and live on the reservation and work on the reservation.

"And it will help us with our culture too. A long time ago when my grandfather was chairman, vice-chairman, and secretary, everybody would do things together; it was like a big family. Everybody would speak their native language and right now that's disappearing.

"So, that's what we need to bring back for our future and the children."
