John Tanner

activist group in southeastern Idaho
"I've looked at the diagrams
and the description of the various concrete dry storage casks
and they look quite adequate. Besides that, Utah doesn't have
the kind of weather that would bother concrete at all.
"The fuel itself is solid
ceramic; there's nothing in it that can leach. So, it's hard
to imagine how an accident could happen.
"Even if there were an earthquake,
what could it do but shake the casks a little?"
